Who is Yehonatan Arnon.
Yehonatan Arnon is the Founder & CEO of Alef10 and a trusted advisor on biometrics, identity, and KYC. For more than a decade he has advised the industry on the systems that verify who people are and decide who crosses a border: biometric self-service and e-gates, passenger-data platforms, electronic travel authorization, and aviation safety management.
His background includes external advisory roles with Israeli national authorities. As an external advisor, he led the technical workstream that qualified Israel for the U.S. Visa Waiver Program, recognized with the Prime Minister's Certificate of Appreciation, and advised and led all Ben Gurion Airport operations for the biometric self-service and e-gates project and the passport-free Terminal 3 pilot. He also advises a national airports authority on aviation safety management, a national fiscal authority on passenger-data systems, and international technology companies building identity and risk platforms.

As an external advisor, led a technical team supporting the platforms behind Israel's air, land, and sea crossings: biometric self-service, e-gates, and ETA / eVisa, serving more than thirty million crossings a year at peak.
Advised on the architecture and operation of advance passenger information and passenger name record systems, the data feeds connecting aviation, border control, and fiscal authorities.

U.S. Visa Waiver Program, Technical Workstream
As an external advisor, led the technical workstream that qualified Israel as the 41st country in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program. Worked across NSC sessions, Knesset committees, and inter-agency coordination with MOFA, Israel Police, the Tax Authority, and IDF COGAT. Recognized with the Prime Minister's Certificate of Appreciation.
Biometric Self-Service at Ben Gurion
Advised and led all Ben Gurion Airport operations for the national-scale biometric kiosks and e-gates serving Israeli passport holders, built on a hybrid on-prem and cloud architecture with Intel RealSense depth sensing. Featured on Channel 13's main evening news, May 2024.
The Passport-less Corridor
Advised and led all Ben Gurion Airport operations for Israel's first passport-free entry pilot at Terminal 3, where Israeli travelers are cleared end to end by face verification, with security overlays built for the Israeli context. Profiled in Passport News, November 2025, alongside Indonesia and Dubai as global biometric travel leaders.
